In 1976 a tree fell into Vogel’s backyard. It occurred to her that she should carve it. Thus began the sculptural career of this Key West artist. Vogel’s paintings and sculptures reflect her sense of humor. She had a solo exhibition of her paintings at the Custom House Museum in 2003. Vogel was the winner of the 2006 Duke Rood Award.
