Australian John Petrie has been using boulders to express human and animal forms and relationships for over 20 years. He has shown extensively in Australia in solo and group shows including Sculpture by the Sea in Sidney where he received awards for his work. He writes, “I use the natural form of the boulder to its maximum effect as well as introducing a little humor into the work.
