Key West artist Lauren P. McAloon creates installations that
are a careful consideration of the history and function of
the site she chooses. Her site-specific projects in the historic
Fort Zachary Taylor have astonished visitors for the past
three years with their sensitivity and beauty. This piece,
“Least Resistance,” references the architecture
of the Gun Powder Room in the fort, which was specifically
designed to give way in the case of an explosion.
