Born in Cuba, Florencio Gelabert received his MFA from the
University of Miami. He has exhibited extensively in the United
States, South America and Europe. He was selected for the
Reed Foundation Fellowship in NY in 2005. Using the language
of Minimalism and Art Povera, Gelabert’s work expresses
the unspoken communication between people and the natural
environment. He lives in Miami, Florida. His piece is courtesy
of the Remy Toledo Gallery. |
