Ursula Clark has realized many large-scale earthworks around
the country and has received several awards and public commissions.
The artist writes, “The maze or labyrinth was our ancestor’s
first intellectual and artistic accomplishment, a transformation
of one of their earliest marks on the face of the earth: a
path leading somewhere else.” Born in Germany, Clark
now lives in Brooklyn, New York. |
